FT position available – primarily days

Responsibilities

This is an exciting growth opportunity to lead a specialized primary care practice that provides comprehensive outpatient care to adults with special needs. The center provides care to adults with childhood onset conditions including, but not limited to, intellectual and developmental disabilities, cystic fibrosis, sickle cell disease, spina bifida, metabolic disorders, and childhood cancers. The Complex Care Center is a leader in innovation to provide primary medical care and specialty services in one location. Responsibilities include direct oversight of nursing and technician team, staffing, performance management, supportive with direct patient care and interprofessional collaboration with ambulatory leadership, administration and medical director to achieve departmental goals and enhance care delivery. Coming in 2021 is an expansion of the practice to include management of integrated outpatient infusion services. This position requires the ability to work with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, NPs, RNs, care managers, physical therapists, respiratory therapists, and dietitians. Candidates must demonstrate strong leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced clinic setting while providing quality service excellence to all customers. Ambulatory Care experience preferred; five years nursing experience required.

Qualifications

Requires a BSN or matriculation in a BSN program from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State license in good standing. Applicants will have a minimum of 5 years or RN experience. This position is a member of the unit/service leadership team, demonstrates the ability to develop standards of care, unit/service goals, and objectives, and provides consultation and expertise in delivering patient care.
