This junior faculty position is headquartered in the Department of Psychiatry’s Institute for the Family where faculty have educational, scholarly, and clinical responsibilities in other departments (such asFamily Medicine, Geriatrics/Internal Medicine, Neurology, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Pediatrics, or Surgery). This new position focuses on communication coaching and psychosocial education with Ob/Gyn residents, and consulting on and treating patients in the Women’s Health Clinic. Mentoring, advanced family therapy training, training as a clinical supervisor, further training as a communication coach, and development as a scholar will be the primary responsibility of faculty in the Institute for the Family, in consultation with relevant leaders in the Department of Ob/Gyn.

PhD or doctoral equivalent in psychology, licensed in the state of New York, with experience in family and health/clinical psychology, integrated care, medical education, and communication coaching with physicians.
