University of Rochester Sr Financial Analyst in Rochester, New York

Serves as financial and administrative manager for CPDCM and acts as representative of its Executive Director and Operations Director in the design, development and enhancement of current CPDCM Financial management systems and all relevant areas of financial management. Responsible for developing, coordinating, implementing, analyzing, evaluating and directing all aspects of financial planning and administration including departmental budget development, project budget development, and overall program performance of business services provided for the University, including budgeting, accounting, purchasing, financial reporting, controls, audits and other services as assigned. Provides leadership, systems and project direction, technical expertise and team coordination and plays a key leadership role in the CPDCM organization. Under general direction from the Executive Director with latitude for professional initiative and for the exercise of independent judgment, is responsible for optimal financial systems performance, integrity, policies, procedures, and management, including software (Prolog, FAMIS), hardware, financial principles and transactions.


Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 3-5 years of relevant experience in a University or similar planning, design and construction management setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
