Sr Financial Analyst

Responsibilities
General Purpose:
Responsible for analytics relating to third party reimbursement, payer contracting and net patient service revenue.
Specific Responsibilities:
Under general direction and with latitude for the exercise of independent judgment and initiative:
Provide analysis and statistical support for development of outpatient hospital revenue budget, including development of hospital payer collection rates, development of BIPs collection rates, development of core outpatient budget adjustments, charge budget, outpatient statistics and monthly outpatient budget variance analysis.
Responsible for the preparation and analytics pertaining to monthly inpatient hospital revenue
Prepares various ad hoc analyses as requested
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or business administration; MBA or CPA preferred; 3-5 years of related experience in hospital reimbursement and financial management; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Competency with Microsoft Office products especially Excel, Access, and some basic SQL required; experience with McKesson HPM decision support system or other like systems preferred.

Pay Range
Pay Range: $ 68,400 - $102,600 Annually
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
