Faculty job description:

Hospitalist responsibilities may include, but are not limited to a combination of patient care, teaching, quality improvement, and/or community service activities. Will provide care to hospitalized patients on the Hospital Medicine Service as the attending of record, and to patients on other services as a Hospital Medicine Consultant. Teaching of medical students, and residents is expected in the School of Medicine and Dentistry.


M.D. or D.O. Degree or equivalent

Eligible for a New York State Medical License

Eligible for a Faculty Appointment at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry

Eligible for Board Certification in Internal Medicine

Post offer Drug Screen and Health Assessment required

Compliance with University and New York State health requirements
