Responsibilities

The University of Rochester Department of Psychiatry is excited to announce an opportunity to recruit a psychiatrist to join its multidisciplinary and energetic Consultation-Liaison team at Strong Memorial Hospital. Opportunities also exist for splitting time between the CL service including specialty outpatient services in mood or anxiety disorders, outpatient consultation, bariatric surgery evaluation or other.

This full-time position includes an academic appointment with University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry at the rank of senior instructor or assistant professor, commensurate with experience and accomplishments, and ample opportunities for faculty development within a robust tradition of mentorship. Teaching and clinical supervision of psychiatric residents and fellows, medical students and other trainees is an integral part of this position. The CL service at Strong Memorial Hospital consists of an interdisciplinary team of clinicians including several psychiatrists, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners and a Social Worker. We offer both traditional as well as proactive CL services.
