Responsibilities

Position Summary:

This position will oversee quality assurance and patient safety initiatives for the Primary Care Network. Develop, implement, and improve programs to establish and maintain Quality and Patient Safety standards, as well as develop programs to focus on the care provided to patients. Research, collect and analyze internal and external data for decision making. Serve as subject matter expert regarding quality and patient safety initiatives, significant event management, and goals in alignment with Primary Care’s strategic priorities. Collaborates with Primary Care efforts to reduce patient harm by monitoring timeliness of test result follow up and by improving event reporting and utilization of event reporting data to drive quality improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring QA of test result reports/dashboards working with ISD.

  • Work with PCN leadership to analyze data from test tracking reports and provide feedback to ordering providers.

  • Disseminate best practices and standards for communicating test results.

  • Work with PCN practices to increase event reporting through RL solutions.

  • Event reporting analysis and development of Q/A initiatives based on findings.

  • Identifies opportunities for work flow process re-design and leads small quality improvement projects.

  • Build relationships with Primary Care administration, practice managers and providers.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with major course work in business, healthcare or technical field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Two years’ project management experience and up to 5 years increasing responsibility in health care areas of quality and data analytics.
