UR Medicine Primary Care is seeking Patient Access Specialists for its Eastside locations. Current openings are based in our practices throughout Fairport, Penfield and Pittsford, NY, and offer a Full-Time schedule of 40 hours per week.

What does an Access Specialist do?

This role is a great way to begin a career in healthcare. The Access Specialist interacts with patients and perform essential tasks in the office like patient welcome and registration, scheduling appointments, and entering patient data. Their work is focused on customer service, communication, teamwork and accuracy.

For those interested in becoming a Patient Access Specialist, it requires a High School diploma or equivalent. Candidates will bring at least one year of customer service or administrative/office experience. A customer service orientation and the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively is essential!

Pay Range

Pay Range: Starts at $17.00/hour

Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
