The Golisano Children's Hospital Pediatric Practice, Ambulatory Care Clinic (https://www.urmc.rochester.edu/childrens-hospital/general-peds.aspx) is the area’s largest, serving over 13,000 children in the greater Rochester area, offering exceptional healthcare services for children from birth to age 21. This exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic nursing team requires being able to promote equitable healthcare of the highest order to a variety of diverse pediatric patients and their families. We are seeking an individual who is inclusive and dedicated to the delivery of excellent patient care, while providing transformational leadership in a fast-paced environment. The nurse manager will function collaboratively with members of a multidisciplinary leadership team to provide comprehensive and holistic patient centered care practices. Seeking candidate who understands the economic and social conditions of the Rochester Community that could influence health status and healthcare delivery in underserved areas. The Nurse Manager must be able to map clinical processes in a clear and concise manner for the nursing team, while leading adherence to all regulatory requirements. Strong communication skills required; must be able to navigate discussions cross-culturally with staff, children, and families. Candidate will lead efforts to maintain a compassionate environment that supports the wellbeing and diversity of staff, children and families served. Minimum of 5 years demonstrated pediatric clinical expertise, 2-3 years of leadership experience preferred.. BSN required, Masters preferred. Must have an active New York State RN license in good standing.Qualifications
Requires a Master's Degree in Nursing or related field and an active New York State license in good standing. Applicants will have 5 years experience as an RN with one to three years of leadership experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The Nurse Manager directs all aspects of patient care, which includes managing nursing personnel and material resources in a cost-effective manner, unit planning and the initiation of innovative clinical and management practices with emphasis on retention strategies.How To Apply
