Seeking Counselors for Mt. Hope Family Center's PATHS club.
This program utilizes a therapeutic group curriculum to help children enhance their social skills and improve their interactions with their peers, teachers, and parents. Each group will have four children and two staff members. The program begins 7/20 for a day of orientation, followed by three days of training on 7/21, 7/22, and 7/23 and then the hours of the program run from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for groups 1 and 2 and from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for groups 3 and 4 (with some additional hours before and after the program to be available to ride the bus, have supervision meetings, and prepare lesson plans) Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday from 7/28/20 through 8/ 20/ 20. Graduate or undergraduate students in Education, Counseling, or Psychology preferred.
