Responsibilities

Exciting growth opportunity for those interested in pursuing leadership in a busy, fast paced procedural area. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; monitoring of daily activities, staffing, the facilitation of, and ability to provide clinical care for patients with acute and chronic pain. Lead a diverse team of techs and nurses in both procedural and office based work environments. Procedural area utilizes fluoroscopy and moderate sedation for a wide range of procedures. Work together with ambulatory leadership, administration, and practice managers to achieve departmental goals. Interpret policy, establish and maintain standards of practice consistent with the University. Ideal candidates should be motivated, have strong interpersonal and communication skills with a positive can-do attitude, and role model IICARE values. Ability to work in a team setting and provide compassionate, quality care to patients with acute and chronic pain issues is essential. Previous leadership experience preferred, but not required. Requires NYS license and a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.

Qualifications

Requires a Master's Degree in Nursing or related field and an active New York State license in good standing. Applicants will have 5 years experience as an RN with one to three years of leadership experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The Nurse Manager directs all aspects of patient care, which includes managing nursing personnel and material resources in a cost-effective manner, unit planning and the initiation of innovative clinical and management practices with emphasis on retention strategies.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $ 92,414 - $129,376 Annually

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
