Laboratory Technician I (S)

General Purpose

Performs basic research laboratory experiments with direct supervision of Principal Investigator.


  • With direct supervision and direction from the primary investigator, fabricate microfluidic devices

  • Work with primary investigator to formulate benchtop experimental procedures and use laboratory techniques to process the experiments in the appropriate manner.

  • Compile, process and analyze experimental results

  • Other duties as assigned.


  • High School Diploma required

  • Courses in sciences and mathematics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required

  • Good inter-personal and communication skills, and ability to build good working relations, and proficiency in spoken and written English preferred.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $ 15.00 - $ 19.86 Hourly

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
