Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Seeking Counselors for Mt. Hope Family Center's PATHS club.This program utilizes a therapeutic group curriculum to help children enhance their social skills and improve their interactions with their peers, teachers, and parents.Each group will have 7 - 9 children and 4 staff members.The position begins 6/20/22 for a day of orientation, followed by three days of training from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. on 6/21, 6/22, and 6/23.Following orientation and training, counselors will be assigned to a group, which will run four consecutive hours per day, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays - either from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00p.m. or from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (with some additional hours before and after the program to beavailable to ride the bus, have supervision meetings, and prepare lesson plans) from 6/28/22 through 8/11/22.Graduate or undergraduate students in Edu cation, Counseling , or Psychology preferred.
