A position for a full time faculty physician is available at University Health Service (UHS), University of Rochester. The successful candidate must have an MD, DO or equivalent degree, must be eligible for license to practice medicine in New York State and must be eligible for a Faculty appointment in the Department of Medicine or Family Medicine, School of Medicine & Dentistry of the University of Rochester. Board certification/eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine required. Experience in a college health environment desirable. Reporting to the Vice Provost and Director, UHS, through the UHS Medical Chief, staff physicians are responsible for direct patient care, clinical coordination, quality assurance and accreditation activities. Post¬offer health assessment is required.

UHS staff physicians see patients a minimum of 28 scheduled hours each week and take on-call responsibilities for the practice. They also participate in both the educational and research aspects of our mission.

As an integral part of the undergraduate campus, an academic medical center and the world¬renowned Eastman School of Music, UHS provides primary care to students and staff, and occupational healthcare to the University community. See www-rochester-edu/uhs
