Responsibilities

GENERAL PURPOSE:Plans, develops, and analyzes HR data stored in the Human Resources Management System (HRMS), MyPath, eCompensation and other related HR systems. Provides HR trends and analytics to the Chief Human Resource Officer and the HR Leadership Team. Works collaboratively and communicates effectively with University Leadership.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Based on requests from the HR Leadership Team, gathers data and runs reports from the HR applications including HRMS (Oracle PeopleSoft), MyPath (Cornerstone), eCompensation (Oracle Cloud Compensation) and other HR Analytics, Talent Management, Recruitment and Onboarding Systems.

  • Analyzes data for trends and anomalies. Cleanses and harmonizes data for uniform comparisons. Performs root cause analysis to determine information that changes over a given time horizon.

  • Prepares professional level analytics (reports, graphs, and charts) for consumption by the HR Leadership team and executives.

  • Coordinates with University IT HR application teams the requirements for additional data elements to facilitate better analytics.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis or Business Administration required. 5 - 10 years of related experience in HR Systems and data analysis experience required or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Skilled in data analytical toolkits such as SQL, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Adobe, and Tableau required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills preferred. Ability to work collaboratively and build strong team-based relationships preferred. Flexibility and problem-solving skills preferred. Experience with Workday HCM, Oracle PeopleSoft, and Cornerstone Software Suite preferred. The Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) credential is a general analytics certification that certifies end-to-end understanding of the analytics process, from framing business and analytic problems to acquiring data, methodology, model building, deployment and model lifecycle management.
