Responsibilities
Exciting opportunity to work in a growing practice within Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. We provide high quality medical care for complex injuries and illnesses with our amazing team of providers, PT/OT, nurses, and technicians. Help us expand our brain injury program by supporting our patients as they navigate medical and community resources in the outpatient setting. Responsibilities include direct patient care, drawing up medications, assisting with ultrasound guided injections, telephone/in-basket management, and care coordination. Candidate must possess strong assessment and communication skills, be able to critically think, stay organized and lead a team for optimal patient care.
Qualifications
Requires a Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State RN license in good standing. Applicants will have a minimum of 6-12 months of RN experience. This position assumes the charge nurse role, actively participates in unit/service activities, supports co-workers, and assesses unit needs.
