Responsibilities

The University of Rochester, Department of Neurology seeks a committed physician faculty member to practice in the NeuroMedicine Intensive Care Unit. The candidate will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team of providers and work collaboratively with neurology and neurosurgery in the care of critically ill patients on a time as reported basis. Candidates must be UCNS eligible or certified Neurointensivist.

The University of Rochester Medical Center is a 886 bed teaching hospital and a Level 1 trauma center. The 12 bed NeuroMedicine ICU opened in July 2014. The ICU is staffed 24/7 by critical care advanced practice providers, residents from Neurology, Neurosurgery and anesthesia and critical care fellows.
