Responsibilities

The Center for Perioperative Medicine seeks a motivated applicant to coordinate perioperative anticoagulation and anemia management in perioperative patients. The ideal candidate is one who is deemed knowledgeable and passionate about the perioperative patient population and has experience in this realm. Anticoagulation/Anemia RN coordinator will work collaboratively with perioperative team and prescribing providers to coordinate and communicate safe comprehensive perioperative anticoagulation/antiplatelet planning and/or anemia optimization in perioperative surgical patients. In addition, the applicant must be organized and have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Requirements: NYS RN License with at least 3 years of experience. Experience in a procedural or surgical specialty preferred.

Qualifications

Requires a Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State RN license in good standing. Applicants will have a minimum of 3 years of RN experience. This position utilizes expert skill and knowledge to deliver nursing care, directs others, and assumes the role as a care coordinator or preceptor.
