Center for Peri-Operative Medicine - Registered Nurse2 Outpatient

Responsibilities

Primary position for telephone screening of presurgical patients for review and collection of medical history for day of surgery preparation. Will work closely with surgeon’s offices and must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and clinical competency. Cross-cover for the clinic on an as needed basis may be required. RN with 3 years acute med/surg experience with knowledgebase of Perioperative medicine a plus. Basic computer skills required.

Qualifications

Requires a Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State RN license in good standing. Applicants will have a minimum of 6-12 months of RN experience. This position assumes the charge nurse role, actively participates in unit/service activities, supports co-workers, and assesses unit needs.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $34.00 - $44.20

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.

Schedule: PT positions available (24 hours), Monday through Friday staggered day shift. Must be flexible.
