The University of Rochester Medical Center is seeking exceptional candidates for Division Chief of the Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care Medicine Division of the Department of Medicine. The Pulmonary Diseases & Critical Care Medicine Division includes over 30 faculty members. The division is proud of its large and expanding clinical footprint including five hospitals and outpatient settings, its highly successful research programs that span the spectrum of pulmonary and critical care medicine, and its long tradition of medical education and research training, including a NIH T32 training grant for over three decades.

We are seeking a leader with renowned excellence in research, proven leadership skills, and outstanding clinical acumen to further the division’s success, growth, and international reputation. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the division’s rapidly growing clinical operations, providing strategic vision for continued success and growth of its broad array of research programs, and stewardship for its training programs in pulmonary medicine, critical care medicine, and lung biology. Substantial resources are available to support the new Chief’s vision and to recruit additional physician scientists.

We seek individuals with a passion for clinical medicine. Candidate must possess an M.D. or equivalent and are eligible for a New York Medical License, Board-Eligible or Board Certified in Pulmonary Diseases and/or Critical Care Medicine to join our diverse and collegial faculty group.
