Responsibilities

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry, in Rochester NY is seeking a scientist with a funded or potentially fundable research programs with particular strengths in cancer or stem cell biology. Candidates must hold an MD or PhD. In addition to demonstrated research productivity and clinical expertise, the successful applicant is expected to contribute to the training of graduate students, residents and fellows. The anticipated rank Assistant Professor.

The University of Rochester Medical Center is a highly collegial environment with many opportunities for collaboration, particularly with investigators in the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center, Clinical and Translational Science Institute and other centers of research excellence. The successful candidate will direct his/her own basic or translational research program.
