OVERVIEW:

The University of Rochester has been a leader in child neurology as a subspecialty since its inception in 1967. Since 2001, the division has evolved allowing training, clinical and research programs to expand substantially. With over 5,000 outpatient and 300 inpatient visits a year, we have patients that come from as far as California, Texas, Florida, and Canada for consultation. For the past two years, Child Neurology at URMC was recognized by U.S. News and World Report as being among the top programs in the United States.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Participate and conduct research in childhood epilepsy.

QUALIFICATION:

Candidates should have completed an ACGME accredited child neurology residency and be Board certified in Child Neurology.

The program offers outstanding opportunities for 1) participation in a large multidisciplinary child neurology team; 2) develop research/academic interests; 3) teaching of residents, fellows, and students.

Applicants must have a New York State medical license and pass pre-employment drug testing.

SALARY:

Salary and rank are commensurate with experience and qualification in child neurology.
