University of Rochester Assoc Professor in Rochester, New York
The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Pulmonology, has an opening for an Associate Professor. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in the areas of cystic fibrosis, asthma, and chronic respiratory insufficiency.
Qualifications: Successful candidates will have shown outstanding accomplishment in the areas of clinical care, research, and or education, and commitment to academic excellence and the development of the careers of junior faculty. NYS, License, DEA, fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonology, Board Certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Pulmonology are required.
Number of months/years’ experience required after obtainment of highest degree: 5years
Special Skills required: Leadership potential, ability to mentor junior faculty, potential to recruit fellows and faculty; performance of bronchoscopies.
Minimum Education Requirements:MD, DO, or equivalent, residency in Pediatrics, fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonology
