Responsibilities

The University of Rochester Epilepsy Center is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Adult Epileptologist at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level to join our vibrant faculty.

Overview:

The University of Rochester has been a leader in epilepsy as a sub-specialty since its inception in 1967. Our Level 4 Epilepsy Center opened in 1991 and has grown to 12 faculty and 35 neurophysiology technologists and support staff. The epilepsy division has evolved allowing training, clinical and research programs to substantially expand. With over 6,000 outpatient and nearly 2,000 inpatient visits a year, we have patients that come from across the U.S. and around the world for consultation.

Qualification:

Candidates should have completed an ACGME accredited Neurology residency and an ACGME accredited Epilepsy and/or Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship. Applicants must be Board certified/eligible in Epilepsy and/or Neurophysiology and in Neurology.

The program offers outstanding opportunities for 1) participation in a large multidisciplinary epilepsy team; 2) develop research/academic interests; 3) teaching of residents, fellows and students.

Applicants must have a New York State medical license and pass pre-employment drug testing.

Salary:
