The University of Rochester Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is recruiting for a Certified Nurse Midwife at the Assistant level for Highland Hospital. The responsibilities of this position will include provision of clinical midwifery services. These services include both outpatient and inpatient care of patients of the division, including management of labor, birth, postpartum, and newborn care. Outpatient care includes provision of prenatal care, well-woman primary and gynecologic care. Candidate must have an MS Degree with AMCB certification in Midwifery. Experience preferred, but new graduates may apply. The applicant must be eligible for NYS license. A post-offer health assessment and drug testing is required to be performed on-site.
