Responsibilities
The University of Rochester’s Department of Dermatology seeks to add a Mohs Surgeon at the level of Assistant Professor to its Faculty. The responsibilities of this position include providing outpatient and inpatient dermatology services with a focus on Mohs micrographic surgery as well as teaching dermatology residents and medical students.
The successful candidate must have an MD or equivalent degree with board certification or eligibility in Dermatology, Mohs fellowship training, and have (or be eligible) for a New York State medical license. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing and expanding an academic clinical practice in Dermatology at the University of Rochester Medical Center affiliated practices and will hold a primary faculty appointment in the Department of Dermatology at the University of Rochester. The candidate will provide clinical, as well as participate in educational programs for residents in Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Family Practice and medical students at the University of Rochester. Engagement in other academic pursuits may include scholarly efforts, presentation of lectures locally and nationally, and pursuit of clinical research. Pay Range
Pay Range: $400,000 - $654,148 Annually
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
