University of Rochester Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in partnership with the Department of Pediatrics and Golisano Children’s Hospital

Seeking Pediatric Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation subspecialist

The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) and Department of Pediatrics at the University of Rochester Medical Center located in Rochester, NY are seeking applicants for a faculty position with a primary appointment in the Department of PM&R and secondary appointment in the Department of Pediatrics. The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is tracking on a rapid growth initiative. We are seeking expertise with development and management of the growing pediatric inpatient and consultation service as well as the ambulatory pediatric PM&R program. Depending on the candidate, this role may carry with it an administrative component as the Chief of Pediatric PM&R with ample opportunity and support to interface with the Department of Pediatrics, Golisano Children’s hospital, the Del Monte Neuroscience Institute, and Rochester Neurorestorative Institute. As a joint appointment with the Department of Pediatrics, this role carries with it an opportunity for a percentage of clinical effort in general Pediatric clinical care, if desired.

Ideal candidates would be BC/BE eligible having completed either a dual PM&R and Pediatrics residency OR a Pediatric PM&R fellowship.

Clinical:Administrative:Research FTE ratio would be negotiable dependent on the candidate. Ideal candidates have a keen interest in teaching PM&R and Pediatric residents and supported in developing a Pediatric PM&R subspecialty training program.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $170,416 - $346,177 Annually

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
