Faculty job description:

The Division of Hematology/Oncology (Wilmot Cancer Institute) invites applications for a Faculty position within Medicine in the area of General Hematology/Oncology. Duties may at times include any combination of the following: Patient care, teaching, independent or sponsored research, administrative duties, community outreach, and University-related public service. The exact distribution of these responsibilities will vary from time to time according to University, department, and division needs, your interests, and your career trajectory. In general, this application will be expected to be a productive member of the University community, whether productivity is measured by patient care, active research, teaching, and administrative service. It is expected that time will be divided between research activities, and clinical activities including patient care, outreach, teaching and administration.

Qualifications:

M.D. Degree or equivalent

Eligible for a New York State Medical License

Eligible for Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology

Experience in an outpatient setting is required

Must meet all credentialing requirements

Post offer Drug Screen and Health Assessment required

Compliance with University and New York State health requirements
