Faculty job description:
The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Pulmonology, has an opening for an Assistant Professor. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in the areas of aerodigestive disease, asthma, and chronic respiratory insufficiency.
Qualifications:
Successful candidates will have shown outstanding accomplishment in the areas of clinical care, research, and or education, and commitment to academic excellence and the development of the careers of junior faculty. Eligible for NYS License, DEA, fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonology, Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatrics and Pediatric Pulmonology are required.
Special Skills required: Leadership potential, ability to mentor junior faculty, potential to recruit fellows and faculty; performance of bronchoscopies.
Minimum Education Requirements: MD, DO, or equivalent, residency in Pediatrics, fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonology
