Responsibilities

The University of Rochester Medical Center, Department of Medicine, is seeking a non-invasive cardiologist with subspecialty training in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplantation. The successful candidate with join a team of 5 Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologists in a busy academic medical center. The University of Rochester receives referrals from across a broad region of New York State with state-of-the-art advanced imaging and intensive care unit facilities.

Requirements include:

  • M.D. Degree or equivalent

  • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Advanced Heart Failure and Transplantation

  • Must obtain New York State medical license prior to employment start date

  • Must meet all requirements for a faculty position at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and credentialing.

  • Post offer drug screen and health assessment required

  • Compliance with University of Rochester and New York State health requirements
