Responsibilities
Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at UR Medicine: The Departments of Pediatrics and Medicine at the University of Rochester Medical Center seek a board-certified Internal Medicine-Pediatrics or Internal Medicine physician with interest in evidence-based clinical service in the area of care for adults with diagnoses that originate in childhood (i.e., “Transitional Care Medicine”) including autism spectrum disorder, and other intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), congenital heart disease, metabolic disorders, spina bifida, sickle cell disease and cystic fibrosis. This physician will be an integral member of the UR team in the Division of Transitional Care Medicine, supporting the inpatient care of our patients. This role offers the opportunity to provide inpatient and consult support to this patient population.
The position includes inpatient rounding on Highland and Strong Memorial Hospital admitted patients.
Applicants must possess an MD and be board certified in Internal Medicine. Board certification in Pediatrics is also preferred. Must be immediately eligible for licensure in New York. Experience working with the targeted “transitional” patient population is preferred. Interest in working in an evolving fully integrated program is required.

Pay Range
Pay Range: $180,000 - $280,000 Annually
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
