Responsibilities

The University of Rochester Eastman Institute for Oral Health (UR EIOH) and the division of Community Dentistry and Oral Disease Prevention seek dentist applicants for a full-time faculty position as Assistant Professor of Clinical Dentistry. Responsibilities include: didactic and clinical teaching and research mentoring and collaboration, providing dental treatment for adult patients of the EIOH Community Dentistry clinics; interacting with patients and healthcare workers to provide health care information; supervising the clinical aspects of the dental clinics to ensure quality of care and timely completion of all documents and reports; participating in department research projects, community dental health programs, or other departmental activities as required. Qualifications include a DDS/DMD or equivalent dental degree, advanced training in Pediatric Dentistry, and New York State dental license eligibility. UR EIOH has the largest dental facility in the Rochester area dedicated to the provision of dental care for a diverse and underserved patient population, including special needs patients.
