The department of Neurosurgery is seeking a candidate for Neurosurgical patient care at Geneva General Hospital.

The principal focus of this position will be the provision of neurosurgical patient care at Geneva General Hospital and Strong Memorial Hospital. It is expected that the successful candidate will have a full clinical schedule providing neurosurgical services in several locations; outpatient office, angio suite and OR. The person in this role will be responsible for enhancing our relationships with regional physicians and hospitals to ensure that care is accessible and provided in the appropriate setting. Education of residents, medical students and physicians is part of the role. Research focus TBD.

Candidate must have an MD degree (or equivalent) with board certificate/board eligible in Neurosurgery including Cerebrovascular Fellowship. The applicant must be eligible for a NYS license.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $650,000 - $850,000 Annually

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
