The Department of Imaging Sciences at the University of Rochester Medical Center is actively recruiting a highly motivated candidate with outstanding credentials to work in Regional/Interventional Radiology. The successful applicant will be required to spend time at any of the UR Medicine locations. Candidates should be committed to clinical radiology.

Candidates must be able to obtain/possess a New York State medical license, be fellowship trained and American Board of Radiology Certified or eligible. A commitment to quality clinical care and teaching for the departments programs is imperative.

The selected candidate will be expected to do a combination of both Interventional procedures and diagnostic imaging. A wide variety of Interventional cases are performed at some of the affiliate sites. Expansion of some of these services will be one of the targets including the growing peripheral vascular service.

The selected candidate should possess expertise in all areas of interventional radiology and have completed a fellowship.

Appointment rank and salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Compensation and benefit packages are highly competitive, including 403B and 457 plans, disability insurance, and tuition benefits. As a non-profit institution, service time may count towards the public service federal loan forgiveness program. Faculty enjoy 9 weeks non-clinical time each year with professional activities supported by a generous individually managed professional account. The division has maintained an average of one day per week of dedicated academic/administrative time to allow for career development.
