Responsibilities

The Division of Solid Organ Transplantation at the University of Rochester Medical Center is seeking a board certified or board eligible surgeon who has experience in adult liver and kidney transplantation, including live donor liver and kidney transplantation as well as pancreas transplantation. The successful candidate will join a team of 5 surgeons performing liver, kidney and pancreas transplants as well as hepatobiliary and access surgery.

Prospective candidates should be oriented to pursue either basic or clinical research, and develop a career in academic transplant surgery. The program operates in a multidisciplinary team environment and we are seeking candidates who wish to be part of a collaborative team. Salary and level of appointment will be based upon experience and qualifications. This growing academic institution offers an excellent opportunity to develop a rewarding practice.

The University of Rochester’s clinical enterprise, UR Medicine, consists of six hospitals located throughout the Finger Lakes and Southern Tier regions – Strong Memorial, Highland, F.F.
