Transplant Infectious Disease Faculty Position Job Description:
The University of Rochester Medical Center seeks highly qualified and motived candidates for a full-time faculty position in the Department of Medicine, Infectious Diseases Division to join the Transplant & Immunocompromised Infectious Disease Service. The Transplant & Immunocompromised Infectious Disease service provides clinical consultation to the Solid Organ Transplant Center (Heart, Liver, Kidney, and Pancreas) and Wilmot Cancer Center (Leukemia, Lymphoma, and Bone Marrow Transplant) at the University of Rochester Medical Center. The faculty member will provide a mixture of inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities joining three other full-time Transplant Infectious Disease Faculty members and a Transplant Infectious Disease Nurse Practitioner Applicants must have an MD or equivalent degree, be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Infectious Disease and ideally will have completed an additional fellowship in Transplant Infectious Disease or have experience in the clinical care of highly complex immunocompromised patient populations. The ability to work with others and communicate effectively in a group, team-oriented working environment is a must. Other duties will include clinical research with an emphasis on participating in clinical trials with translational and correlative components, and the teaching and supervision of trainees and students. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent upon qualifications.

Must meet all credentialing requirements including health assessment and drug testing
