Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Analyzes problems, provides complex program specifications, develops or modifies programs, assists in the scheduling of programming projects, and supervises the technical activities of assigned personnel. This position is primarily responsible for designing, developing, testing, evaluating, deploying and maintaining computer programs for practical solutions of scientific, management or business problems.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, deploy and manage web-based systems and mobile applications for delivery of educational content and management of CE credit for clinician-learners (the Learning Management System).

Develop, implement, test, and manage back-end tools and systems for reporting and system management, to support ongoing evaluation of the Learning Management System and other systems.

Analyze, create, and deliver standard and ad-hoc reports to meet business needs

Design and deliver training and technical support to clinician users of the on-line learning systems.

Supervise other programmer/analysts and part-time student employees in support of systems.

Maintain expertise in changing technology through self-study, and attending job-related seminars, courses, or conferences in order to enhance personal development and achieve the aims of assigned projects and programs.

Assist in dissemination of related findings through the preparation of manuscripts for publication.

Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent, and 4-5 years of related programming experience with MS SQL Server, modern web application frameworks and JavaScript libraries, including but not limited to, Node.js, AngularJS, Express.js, ReactJS, and HTML5, are required. Experience with learning management system and eLearning standard (e.g. SCORM), Windows IIS server administration, Tableau report development are also required. Familiarities with iOS/Android mobile app development and ColdFusion 11 are preferred. Team player with outstanding organization skills, and strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are required qualifications. Two to three years of supervisory experience and a Master's degree are preferred qualifications.
