Responsibilities
The Department of Orthopaedics is excited to open our new state of the art clinic in Henrietta at Marketplace Mall in November 2023. We are looking for the best to join our nursing leadership team as Nurse Educator. The Nurse Educator will be responsible for working with the Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) to oversee staff onboarding development and monitoring of annual competencies, ongoing staff education, mentoring staff interested in clinical advancement, and development and coordination of an Ambulatory Nurse Residency program. Active involvement with nursing education group and member of service and hospital committees. Assist CNL and nursing leadership with continuous quality and performance improvement projects, sterilization, point of use, and radiologic standards across all of Orthopaedics including podiatry. Conduct education and in-services in casting orientation and compliance. Continuing Education Nurse Planner for Ambulatory Care. Will take an active role in assuring compliance with regulatory standards for all ambulatory orthopaedic & podiatry offices both at Clinton Crossings as well as all regional Orthopaedic locations. Must have strong interpersonal skills, be self-directed with excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills. Requires a Master’s Degree; 3-5 years of experience required.
Qualifications
Requires a Master's Degree in Nursing or related field and an active New York State license in good standing. Must have strong interpersonal skills, be self-directed with excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills. 3-5 years of experience required.

Pay Range
Pay Range: $ 85,280 - $119,392 Annually
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
