University of Rochester Allergy, Immunology, Rheumatology (AIR) - Registered Nurse-Level II in Rochester, New York

Schedule

FT position available, primarily days, 8 hour shifts

Responsibilities

RN needed for fast paced, growing Allergy and Rheumatology practice. Applicant must enjoy being a part of a team of nurses, support staff and physicians and have excellent interpersonal communication skills. Responsibilities include: Administering Infusions including excellent assessment skills and the ability to organize and prioritize care; Providing Clinical support for MD’s in busy a practice ; Allergy testing including administration of immunotherapy, skin testing, and patient education; Telephone triage including processing incoming patient phone calls, triage of patient need, routing to appropriate physician and/or staff. Applicant must be motivated and have active NYS RN license with at least 4 years of clinical experience. Some experience with pediatrics and Epic E Record system is helpful.

Qualifications

Requires a Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State RN license in good standing. Applicants will have a minimum of 6-12 months of RN experience. This position assumes the charge nurse role, actively participates in unit/service activities, supports co-workers, and assesses unit needs.
