Allergy, Immunology and Rheumatology Professional Development Practitioner (CNL in AIR)

Responsibilities

The Allergy, Immunology, Rheumatology professional development practitioner is an up and coming role within the nursing leadership team. Primary areas of responsibilities include, but are not limited to, new hire onboarding, orientation for experienced and new graduate nurses, development and review of annual competencies, annual required specialty education and attestation, participation in the development and delivery of ongoing in-services and educational needs for all team members. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high attention to detail, organization and planning with strong leadership skills. Through on-going collaboration with the nursing, physician and administrative teams, the professional development practitioner advocates for the needs of the service at a practice level to maintain up to date and best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required. Master's Degree in related field in Nursing required; Master's Degree in Nursing Education (MNE) preferred. Three to five years RN experience in acute care setting preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience, Recent clinical and educational expertise in specialty area required. Registered Nurse with current New York State licens required. Professional nursing certification in specialty area preferred.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $41.00 - $57.40

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
