49000 - Child and Adolescent Psychiatry - Registered Nurse, Level I - II

Responsibilities

One or more years experience in pediatrics or psychiatry with strong knowledge base in growth and development. Experience as a mental health worker with children or adolescents prior to nursing education will be considered in meeting criteria. Previous experience as a teacher in primary, secondary or special education classroom will also be considered. Genuine interest and ability in working with children.

Qualifications

Requires a Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State RN license in good standing.

Level I

Applicants will have less than 6-12 months of RN experience.

Level II

Applicants will have a minimum of 6-12 months of RN experience. This position assumes the charge nurse role, actively participates in unit/service activities, supports co-workers, and assesses unit needs.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $ 34.00 - $ 44.20 Hourly

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
