FT position available, D/E/N, weekends & holidays per unit staffing plan.Responsibilities
Opportunity for a motivated experienced APP to work across the spectrum of clinical services in caring for heart failure patients . The NP/PA is an integral member of the clinical team. Primary clinical responsibilities will be acute inpatient. The NP / PA will be accountable for LOS management and quality outcomes for their group of patients. Master’s degree and license as an NP required or national PA boards completed. Must be NYS NP licensed (or eligible), MS degree, and 3-5 years’ experience preferred. ACNP preferred for NP applicants.Qualifications
Requires a Master's Degree in Nursing or related field and an active New York State license in good standing. Applicants will have 5 years experience as an RN with one to three years of leadership experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The Nurse Practitioner influences the quality and delivery of care in various roles including consultant, researcher, mentor, and practitioner. This role may be unit, program, or service based and is involved in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Completion of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program, licensure in good standing, and certified as a Registered Physician Assistant. Demonstrated clinical competence, superior verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal effectiveness and customer relation skills, computer competence and must have an active desire to learn.
