GENERAL SUMMARY*:*

The University of Rochester School of Nursing is seeking a Teaching Assistant for a clinical faculty position. Faculty positions at the School of Nursing are based on 9 month appointments. Candidates must have a RN license and relevant practice experience. Candidates with a record of scholarly work, a commitment to interdisciplinary approaches and teaching experience are preferred. Rank and salary are commensurate with education and experience. Clinical faculty are eligible for promotion along the clinical track.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with student assessments; grading of assignments, and exams.

Assist Instructor to teach groups of students in the school’s nursing programs.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, current NYS licensure, demonstrated record of clinical excellence, superior interpersonal skills required.

Post-offer health assessment required. Complete all agency requirements for clinical faculty compliance and credentialing.
