Enter birth certificate data from worksheets into the NYSDOH website
Weekend coverage (4 hours) to be rotated equally among staff
Routing filing and copying of forms, letter, etc.
Answer numerous phone calls from new mothers regarding birth certificates and social security numbers.
Must be sensitive to difficult situations and work cooperatively with others in the office and hospital staff.
2 years of post High School courses with emphasis in Data Processing or Medical Terminology, accreditation as Medical Record Technician, 1-2 years related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
