The Division of Community Dentistry and Oral Disease Prevention at Eastman Institute for Oral Health at the University of Rochester Medical Center is seeking a full-time faculty member at the academic rank of Assistant Professor of Dentistry. Responsibilities of this faculty position will involve, research and other academic development activities, teaching and mentoring students in the Orthodontic training program clinic; providing clinical care, didactic and clinical teaching and supervising clinical activities in the Community Dentistry training programs; and participating in department residency programs, research projects, community dental health programs, or any other departmental activities as necessary or required.

Requirements: DDS/DMD or equivalent degree, completion of a CODA accredited Orthodontic Dentistry specialty training program, minimum of 3 years’ clinical experience, NYS Dental License eligibility; excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) in order to relate to groups at all levels within the organization including office staff, faculty, management, senior leadership, governing agencies and others; must display initiative, a positive attitude, flexibility and commitment to network goals and objectives; must be committed to the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct including the I Care values of integrity, compassion, accountability, respect and excellence.

Post-offer health assessment is required. Faculty rank and compensation are commensurate with experience and qualifications.
