The University of Rochester Eastman Institute for Oral Health is seeking a qualified individual for a full-time position at the level of Assistant/Associate Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics. Specific responsibilities will focus on research, teaching, service and patient care. It is expected that the candidate will spend a significant part of his/her time developing independent and sponsored research.
Candidates should possess a DMD/DDS degree or foreign equivalent, MS and/or PhD and have completed an ADA approved Prosthodontics residency program. A record of funding is preferable. Collaborations in research opportunities with other departments such as Biomedical and Mechanical Engineering and Oral Biology are available and encouraged. The University Of Rochester Clinical And Translational Science Institute is one of the institutions nationwide with funding from the National Institutes of Health to lead the emerging field of clinical and translational research. Salary will be determined by credentials and experience.
