The Department of Pediatrics has an opening for Associate Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Neonatology. The candidate would assume the position of Director of Neonatal Clinical Research. We are particularly interested in candidates with a significant commitment to research and with excellent clinical skills.
Successful candidates will have shown outstanding research accomplishment and promise, and commitment to pursuing a career that includes publishing and obtaining extramural grant support for their research. Research in fellowship and experience in neonatal clinical research are requirements.
Prior experience: Must have completed a Neonatal-Perinatal Fellowship and be US board certified in Neonatology.
Special skills required: Experience in the design, conduct and analysis of clinical research. Leadership in clinical trials preferred.
Minimum Education Requirements - list level of education and field(s) acceptable: MD or equivalent degree, Neonatal-Perinatal Fellowship; eligible to practice in New York State.
